Wolfe does it again. I love how quick and witty the writing style is in this series. There are so many layers and clever clues threaded throughout. I had fun playing junior detective and many of my suspicions were correct while others were close. Sometimes being able to guess the twist ruins the plot, but it doesn’t feel that way for these cases. It’s exciting coming up with theories and seeing if you’re correct and how they all tie together. It’s clever and twisted with a hint of romance threaded in. The story is engaging  and well thought out with the perfect amount of build up to the dramatic ending.
