I’ll be honest, this one started out rough for me. I was infuriated for the most of the first half of the book. The story is beautifully written. It balances the long time period by giving enough detail, but still moving along. By the end I was crying and will probably reread at some point to get past the plot and dig a little deeper. There were so many emotions and thoughts rolled up into this one.

You need tissues. If you don’t, you might need someone to give you a heart.
