Hunting Prince Dracula by Kerri Maniscalco
5.0
Oh. My. Goodness. This book is absolutely amazing!
Audrey Rose is the perfect female heroine that is headstrong and knows what she wants. The trauma from the previous book was adequately shown throughout the book. It was mysterious (as all mysteries should be) and had the right amount of romance and intrigue to keep me on the edge of my seat and questioning what I know.
The book is interactive, in a way. If keeps you wondering who-dun-it and how, and you have to look at the victims and the clues and everything else. Even if you did so, the perpetrator (in the end) was so unexpected. At the time I had read it, I had already dismissed that character from my mind.
My favorite part of the whole book had to be Thomas Cresswell. He's a combination of Keefe Sencen from "Keeper of the Lost Cities" by Shannon Messenger and Julian Blackthorn from The Dark Artifices trilogy by Cassandra Clare - sarcastic, a little humorous, and sometimes dead serious. He's different from the first book though, and the author even says that he is - He is more open and displays his feelings more.
I can't get enough of Thomas and Audrey Rose, nor their adventures.
