I don’t know what it is about Sarah J Maas books. They are all so slow going and I want to DNF them for at least half the book, and then boom, I can’t put them down.

Same here for Assassin’s Blade. The first two novellas were so boring that it took me months to pick this back up. Then after I pushed through them and got to the meat of the prequel, I wanted more and more.

I’m ready to jump into Heir of Fire now.
