I rarely cry over books, and even less so when I read in public. I read the second half of this book out at a bar, and was unashamed in my tears. The prose are absolutely heart wrenching and beautiful. The epistolary nature of Red and Blue’s correspondence was so unique and raw - words mean so much more when you’re not speaking, only sending letters through increasingly untraceable and unknowable means thousands of years apart. 
I cannot wait to read this again.
