Black Sheep by Rachel Harrison
3.0
Kinda felt like required reading for anyone with strained family relationships due to religious trauma. I wouldn't say that I disliked Vesper throughout the book, but I did find myself disagreeing with her internal monologues and often disapproving of her actions. I liked her existential spirals where she struggled with what parts of her were her and what were things that were inherited from her parents. That maybe these things in Vesper I didn't really like were things she also didn't like, and were parts of the indoctrination of her family's cult. Interesting story, worth the read, but not life altering.
