DNF @ 26% (end of Chapter 6) -- Trevor rubbed me the wrong way, almost from the start. It was subtle at times, but I noticed it from their first interaction in the bar in NYC. And when it seemingly increased in Vermont, I decided to cut my losses. He was just...proprietary and dickish?? Like touching her when she's giving don't touch vibes, smiling at her when she's obviously upset, and then the weird teasing comments that almost chastised her. Honest to God, these might have been the only instances, and they might have been explained if I'd continued (and some parts might have been unreliable narrator), but I'm tapping out. Sometimes a book just isn't the right fit, and my sensitivities were peaking...
