The Petulant Princess by M.A. Frick

4.0

Another wonderful story from M.A. Frick. I adore her writing style and how it pulls me into the story right from the first page.

I loved Elspeth's character. She starts out young, naive, and quite feisty and life in court quickly shapes into an absolute force, as she learns to navigate court politics and some tough lessons, while still maintaining her values and identity.

Sainte was the perfect complement to Elspeth's character. Where she was loud and brash, he was quiet and strong. I loved their dynamic and their exchanges. The banter and tension-filled moments will have you swooning. Most of my favourite quotes in this story are from Sainte
