I keep in asking myself why I had stopped reading this series years ago and i finally got my answer.

It's a good story , good sequencing of the events, even good characters but with this one I didn't feel the connection with Mahiya and Jason. Sure they love each other and all but something is missing.

My heart was not skipping any beats or dancing to any tunes here.

As I was reading I could not wait to finish it cause it bored me at times.

And when I finally finished it,it was meh not that exciting. Even with the previous book in the series, dmitri and honor. I was excited she was his past wife but that quick acceptance?...mh suspect.

Anyhow, atleast I finished.
