Dominic by L.A. Casey
4.0
Dominic....Oh god.
This book had me cracking up in minutes, seconds even.
So the story is told from the point of view of Bronagh, (love this name), who lives with her older sister. She has sorta distanced herself from a lot of her friends since her parents died, so she likes to be left alone.
Course, then there's Dominic, who along with his brothers, moves to Ireland with family business and notices Bronagh. He's kind of an ass, arrogant and cocky and pretty protective and..dominant.
And that's when Bronagh opens that Irish tongue of hers. Holy s**t. Had me cracking up. Brutal really and filthy but I can't say it wasn't accurate. With an Irish author, it was bang on.
So Bronagh and Dominic of course, attraction right there sorta, except they hit off each other, and I haven't laughed as hard for a long time about a book.
With Bronagh and her flaring mouth and Dominic's arrogance, oh god did they clash.
But then Bronagh learns about Dominic's family secret and she's opened up to a whole new side of him that endangers her life.
I enjoyed this book a lot, especially at the beginning, but I dunno, for me both characters I felt became very childish and it annoyed the heck outta me at times. But other than that, I enjoyed the book.
*tries to find appropriate quotes* *nooooo*
