Another masterpiece from Alexis Hall. The novel has a gentle back and forth rhythm throughout. It made me snort with laughter and at other times, my heart to sink. While I was frustrated at times with the protagonist, I could also empathize with them and ultimately love Sam, Jonathan and their extended family. I seem to always see neurodivergent traits in Halls characters and it makes my heart sing.
