This was my 9th book finished in 2023.

This is the second time I've read this book, though I feel I enjoyed it more the first time round.

I liked the slow pacing and seeming lack of plot. I was very taken in by this apocalyptic world, and it was very convincing. There's no major plot, you're just shown a small time period of a survivor's life. But I liked that. It gives a depth of how awful, bleak and endless the world is.
