I really wanted this to be a 5 star read because I LOVE with Nocturnal - the first book to make me want to write poetry!

I didn’t gravitate as much to the vibe and poems in this one than I thought I would. Golden is still a solid 4, maybe even 4.5, though! So many of the poems were amazing! Wilder did a great job in Nocturnal and wild is she of creating a satisfying aesthetic throughout the books, which she continued in Golden. But there were some poems I didn’t connect with. Still, it’s a wonderful book!
