I'm honestly not sure how I feel about this book at all. 😂 I can't say it's the greatest peace of literature and definitely not my favorite but it was something I really enjoyed even though I can definitely tell how trashy it is. 😂 I do definitely plan on reading the rest of the series and I'm very intrigued to know what happens.

I like the characters and narrative a lot! I can definitely understand why people hate it and I do agree that the metaphors can be a touch too much but I got use to it and started liking it.
I loved seeing Juliette's character development and relationships. Though some of my enjoyment was kind of slashed because I've been spoiled part of what's going to happen so I couldn't really get myself attached to the story fully and the relationships and characters.
I also think the narrative and writing really fit well with Juliette's voice and character so because of that I really enjoyed it.

A lot of it felt like your typical dystopian YA, which I mean it is. I'm not the biggest fan of dystopian. Which like I knew that going in so I shouldn't give a lower rating because of that but you know. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I'm very interested in knowing what's going to happen next, especially based on what I know already so this should be interesting. 😂
