Grueling, harsh, and fantastical. Political and violent. Following the clan/gang wars in a city full of jade, which gives certain individuals power behind that of a normal person. Where does family and loyalty lie? Lee’s writing fits the setting very well and the world is intriguing.

Wasn’t for me, but I can understand why others would love it. I have no plans to continue the series.
