It's rare for me to find books I couldn't put down, but this is definitely one of those! Jade is such an interesting and relatable main character, I liked Lily and Florence a lot, and Ba! Hoo boy, Ba is a lot to unpack, and I love that about him. The ghosts, too! And the atmosphere! My only little complaint is that some of the phrasing is really strange, so it feels like the book was missing an editor or something. Still, five stars, no hesitation! So good!
