I couldn't get into this. Everything was sloppy and rushed, and after a while I realised I didn't really care about what happened to the characters.

Update #2024: not sure why I chose to finish this, only realized I’d tried it before when it was time to log…there were some good quotes, but that was it. Too long, too dragged out, too obvious…some moments were just so contrived and basic, they bordered on stupid, with how easily everything happened for the totally useless main character. Whatever…I’m done with this. If I were you, I’d not read it.

Update #2025: forgot this wasn’t poetry. Spoiler ahead: how did no one pick up on the fact that the girl with the slit wrists had blunt trauma to the head? The pathologist should get fired.
