Welp.

Here we go again.

This story is a fastburn and showcases everything when FMC is pregnant, nothing before.

At nowhere did I care about the FMC or the MMC. FMC and MMC hardly cared that the additional stress could have seriously harmed her child.

But then again, so many romances with pregnancy or children tend to shove them aside so we can indulge in weird, no-chemistry sex scenes 🫠

Skimmed to see if the FMC actually cared about her pregnancy. She cared more for the MMC’s schlong than about her pregnancy. 

Honestly, I would love a dark romance pregnancy/abduction story where the pregnant MC is viciously protecting themselves and their wanted pregnancy, and  the LI realizes how they could’ve done some serious damage when a punishment they inflict gives MC a bleeding spell. Love me some darkness. 

Instead, this was just a book that really didn’t need pregnancy, considering how FMC nor MMC had much thought outside of sex. This could have been swapped with MMC abducting FMC to make sure she was compliant in repping his boy. I don’t know. It just doesn’t make sense that the pregnancy was just there. FMC had spinal removal surgery because she just did not really care about her pregnancy. It was her ticket to getting good head.

I regret even skimming this book, whomp whomp 🙃
