My first Lisa Jewell and I’m a bit disappointed. I like my mystery/thrillers to be in the present, happening now, with threat imminent and visceral. I don’t like books that are just slow revelations of things that have already transpired in the past. That’s not a thriller it’s…general fiction? Story time? I don’t know but I know it’s not my cup of tea:(
