An Inquiry Into Love and Death by Simone St. James
3.0
I was underwhelmed by this book. I have been reading all of Simone St. James' books, and this is probably my least favorite, along with The Other Side of Midnight. It was just so formulaic, and it didn't have the passion that her other books have. The characters were flat, the twists were predictable, and the storyline just left me bored. Had I not been reading it with a friend, I would have DNFed it. However, it really showed me just how far James has come with her writing since these older books, and I loved being able to see that.
