Cornwell is a great writer but I just didn't vibe with Andy Brazil, or any of the characters in this story, finding the way the mystery was laid out really off-putting. I still think there were some good ideas in here but I'm a much bigger fan of the Scarpetta series and the way those characters and the mysteries have evolved. But if you're looking to read anything by Cornwell, this is fine, just I wouldn't say her best series.
