Lucy still working as matchmaker in her father company, but she got a new division,Lost Love. Yes, her job is to find and reunite people that lost her/ his lover from long ago. She do this job with her partner, the firefighter turn private investigator, Sean Donahue (He's yummy XD)and get help from reporter, Preston Bailey, that most her job is annoyed Lucy.
When get case for Lost Love division, Lucy assist her police's friend, Detective Aidan Holliday, to find the lost woman, wife of Aidan's friend. Aidan's friend is become suspect, because his wife is lost without news, and their children seems like became abused
Lucy's problem is complex in this book. Her relationship with Sean is rocky. There are Sean ex-fiancee, Cara, that come to him, and admit that she got sick, and Sean can't left her, even though Sean don't want to left Lucy too. Lucy suspect that Preston is her sister, from other mother, but later, she know that's wrong. Her friend, Em is get confused before married, and Lucy believe that Em's boyfriend is cheating on her, then his father acting strangely. Worse, Lucy get stalker letters, name Hand Maiden, tell that she is an abomination.
With so many problem, can Lucy find her client's lost love? Solve Em problem? Find the lost woman? why her father act like that? what relationship between she and Preston? and, more important, can finally Lucy admit her feeling, that she love Sean, despite her family curse?...
I enjoy Lucy's story in this book
Sometimes I get frustated with Lucy and Sean's relationship, but I'm so happy that finally they admit that they love each other...
The romance is better in this book, and even though the suspense is just ordinary, there are some surprises in here...
Can't wait to read the next book
