What a great story. All the trappings of a literal fairytale, but with a dark undercurrent we’ve come to know and love from Stephen King. As almost an exclusive fantasy reader, even the first quarter of the book (with no magic) kept my intention because the story and the characters were so interesting. I HIGHLY recommend the audiobook- the narrator was amazing and did a fantastic job with the cast of characters.
