the book is just so unoriginal that I couldn't make myself read it. okay backtrack the world building is original but it's bad so I can't count that as a plus for the book.

I'm in a slump, so I actually thought a generic romantasy would work wonders for me, but I've now tried this LIBRARY BOOK twice and both times I couldn't stand reading it.

I didn't like the one and only other book I've read from Whitten, so this was me trying her again, which was obviously unsuccessful so I won't be trying any more.

maybe if I was in a better spot I would be able to read this and give it a nice 3.5, but now is not the time and there are just so many other books that I highly doubt I'll ever return
