Homeland Elegies by Ayad Akhtar

5.0

Akhtar's memoir is incredible in its blend of his life, his father's, and the overarching sociopolitical examination of the life for immigrants and children of immigrants in the U.S. from 9/11 to now. I cannot recommend this book enough and will be recommending it to everyone I know until the end of time.
