First of all, I’ve had this book for weeks and it wasn’t until I opened it that I realized the title was spelled unconventionally… Mind blown. With that said, I didn’t expect to like this collection as much as I did. Only because this is not my preferred kind of poetry (and I didn't flip through the book before I bought it so that’s on me). I like my poetry obscure, complex, abstract, and not so on-the-nose, but I did enjoy this as a whole. To the point where I plan to read more from this writer. A lot of the pieces did make me pause, and reflect, and I found a lot of it ‘pretty’ and at times clever. I really liked the format and art. Reading this was simply an experience and I can’t wait to read the second volume.
