I’m still pretty speechless over this book. All I kept thinking as I was reading was “This needs to be adapted to television”. All the characters felt so authentic and flawed. I felt like a fly on the wall drinking in all their secrets and family drama 🤭 Very compelling to read everything unfold between the Trudeau and Savant families!! Loved the exploration of generational trauma, grief, and race. And the magic here is so grand and impressive! To think Clement and Christine are only 16?! Imagine what they can pull off further down the line 👀👀 Definitely will be getting my hands on the sequel after that explosive ending!!
