Really enjoyed this read. It explained more on the history of Tanria and the gods.
I really liked Twyla and Frank and their dynamic is adorable. I wouldn’t say this is a heavily romance driven book. It is a half and half of what is going on in Tanria/ family/ and then romance. This is a friends to lovers and slow burn. I really enjoyed it. The pace was nice , story intriguing and the characters were 53 which is nice to read. Made me feel happy to see older people falling in love and still have childish gripes xD I literally got mad at a scene cuz I was like “y’all are older! How is it that you’re still making stupid decisions!?”
Honestly it felt nice to see no matter what age love makes you stupid.

Anyways MaryGeorgina has my heart, the twist was hilarious and Duckers should hopefully stop having a midlife crisis at 21.

9/10.
