Carrie White is tortured and ostracised by her schoolmates. One of them feels so guilty that she arranges for her boyfriend to take Carrie to the school prom, but another still hates Carrie so much that she arranges for her boyfriend to spill pig's blood over her just as Carrie is crowned prom queen. Carrie though has the gift of telekinesis and has her revenge on the school, her own mother, and the whole town. Brilliantly over the top. Not at all scary but I loved it.
