Still just very meh. I thought Vail being forced even more into the role of Sherlock Holmes was interesting, but nothing much came of it. I actually liked Ziana and thought she was a fun character.

I thought it seemed a little too obvious when they thought she was behind the assassination attempts, and thought there would be a twist that it wasn't her, but no. I'm disappointed that she died. It would have been interesting to see more of her.

Was surprised by a bit of language that cropped up courtesy of a werewolf (or should I say SWEARwolf.)

Still desperately, slowly going to make my way through this series hoping it finally gets better.
