This is a novella in the Covenant Omegaverse series, where humans with seer gifts help vampire alphas find their human omegas. There are a few dark elements to this story, as well as spicy contents, so please read the trigger warnings. I received an advance review copy and my thoughts are my own.

The Lovely: I adored the premise behind this story - that he knows his fated mate is coming but not when. I loved the relationship between the main characters and how it progressed. He’s sweet and supportive to her, not surprising after his wait for her. A fair amount happens in this story despite it being less than 200 pages.
The Mundane: I was confused by how fate is essentially manipulated at the beginning. She is supposedly his mate but the Vampire Lord basically pays an exorbiant sum of money to make sure she is assigned to their house. That doesn’t feel like fate to me - so I was confused.
Recommendation: This was a fun introduction to this series and I would be interested in reading more. I am especially interested in reading the story about Lord Stryker finding his mate. The writing was perfect for a novella and I was impressed at how engaging it was for a novella.
