This was my least favorite volume so far. The first two thirds of the story are focused on the investigators and not much happens. The story is a bit chaotic and I'm not sure where it should lead. There's too many investigators with seemingly minor roles that I just don't care much about.

The last third refocuses the story back to ghouls, but we again get some flashbacks to the restaurant and just a few more steps made by Kaneki towards finding out more about Rize. The final panels with the cliffhanger were a great way to end this volume.
