Wanted: Toddler's Personal Assistant: How Nannying for the 1% Taught Me about the Myths of Equality, Motherhood, and Upward Mobility in America by Stephanie Kiser

5.0

I devoured this book. I loved not only the stories that Kiser shares but how she intentionally calls out the women she worked for who were different and present. Having come from a very small town myself and also having worked with the 1% in my early career, I found this book very relatable. I enjoyed reading how Stephanie learned to form her own political opinions and shared not only how she was able to understand differing opinions but her new appreciation for how hard her mother worked to raise her and her sisters. This book touches on a lot of mainstream topics that continue to be overlooked and certainly not solved. I liked Stephanie's writing, her honesty and the entire book!
