I listened to the audio book with jenette as the reader- this added so much personality and made the emotional parts of the book so much harder to digest. I’ve never read a book that made me so reflective about my own relationships and identity. Truly heartbreaking read but also very witty in a disarming and blunt way. Not for reading in front of others - it made me sob and gasp out loud -and I think is best ingested in solitude to allow the gravity of what the author is saying to sink in. Makes me glad I never watched icarly. Also makes me very thankful for my loving family.
