A surprising and really good 4-star read!

Despite the odd premise—we're literally inside the mind of a mountain lion living in LA—"Open Throat" provided some weirdly revealing and weirdly relatable commentary about human nature. It made me laugh out loud, it made me sad, and it made me mad how THAT LION DESERVED BETTER. Who knew a book about a lion would turn out to be a book about life.

You probably haven't heard of this one, but check it out!! Plus you can read it in an hour so it's good for that reading goal I'm just saying.
