Den of Vipers by K.A. Knight

2.0

I don’t even know what to say about this book. It’d be fun if it was only 300 pages. But it was overwritten. No plot, no character for female protagonist, and no development for the male love interests.

I feel tired enough to write a detailed review and I think that’s fair when the author herself was tired of writing a detailed story with complex characters. Let’s sum this up quickly.

I had thought I’d like or feel a bit interested in Ryder at first, but I fell for Diesel HARD. He's the most intimidating guy among Vipers. He's not just a serial killer but also the torturer. Ain't gonna lie I was a bit worried about his d* he got it tattooed and pierced... I wished Roxxanne a good luck at the start but later we saw that she survived even more. Congrats, Roxy!

When I was half into the book my favorite male character changed for a moment and I thought Kenzo was the one for me. But later A Big Reveal! Diesel picked his own name? Cool cool cool. Back to being my favorite ^^

After leaving 450 pages behind waiting for the plot to arrive I FINALLY said to myself, ok this book has no plot but it's full of spice. Very fast thinking huh?

Apart from all I want to clarify the fact that Kenzo DESERVED more scenes. I rarely saw him.

I have two last issues to talk about. No actually I won’t talk about it. Just leaving it here.

1. Roxy says she doesn't like expensive gifts then accepts a luxury car, and later a mansion to live in without getting asked twice. She has no character at all. Lend some from the boys, girl.

2. Roxy’s Viper tattoo. She got the tattoo and later got naked in front of all the boys but nobody noticed or talked about it. I think the author herself forgot about it too. When I say no plot, then there is literally no plot.
