Listened to this on audio, and I loved every single minute of it. Do know that this book is dramatic but terrifying as well. It's literally a reviewer's worst nightmare.
Emma has been through a tragedy in her life and decides to escape to an isolated coastal house to be by herself with her dog. After leaving a one-star review, the author of the book reaches out and becomes aggressive with threats at first, and then weird things start occurring in the house Emma is renting.
The overall storyline is fast-paced after the first half. It's also crazy and intense. The overall atmosphere of this book is terrifying. There were several twists and turns that I saw coming, but they were still enjoyable.
Emma and Laika are badasses, and I'd want them in my corner if something happens!
