“Linden McGregor is funny, kind, smart, handsome and ambitious. He’s got a BA in business and is almost done getting his helicopter pilot’s license. He’s one hot package that any girl would be lucky to snatch up.”

Stephanie and Linden have been best friend for nine years. They meet when Stephanie got a job with James at the bar. A week later James and Steph started dating. They lasted a year than Steph broke up with him. They all remained friends and Steph and Linden became Best Friends. They started calling each other Baby Blue and Cowboy. They obviously liked each other, but they were scared, scared for their friendship, scared what they felt for each other, and also they were really close with James, they didn't want to hurt him.

“Going after your best friend’s girl is unspeakable. You just don’t do it. Even when their relationship crash lands and you find yourself torn among the wreckage, it’s still something you can’t even think about.”

When they turned 25 Linden made this "pact" with Stephanie, that if they turned 30 and both of them are still single they'll get married.

“I wanted Steph. My best friend. She was my baby blue and I was her cowboy”

This book was interesting. I liked Linden. ALOT. Every time he talked Jason Derulo's song popped in my head "Talk Dirty To Me". That man can talk. I hated James. He annoyed the fuck out of me. I kinda liked him at first but then god, I hated his guts. I just wish that their relationship would've started earlier, I liked them together. Overall, amazing book.

“Nine years. I’ve been waiting nine years for this. Nine years to finally have you the way I’ve always needed you.”
