This book introduced me to one of my all-time favorite authors - Jean Ferris. Like many of Ferris' other books, it's quirky, hilarious, and heartwarming.
Christian and Marigold communicate through pigeon messages until they finally meet in real life - and Christian uncovers a dastardly plot to wreck Marigold's life. What follows is hysterical and bizarre and a wonderful, memorable story.
This is a great book for 10-12 year olds and a quick and easy read for anyone.
