Look, this book had no right to be so damn good, but it was INCREDIBLE. It was one of those books that was so amazing I forced myself to read it slower than usual so I could savor it. Granted, it is a bit dark at times and I might have gagged once or twice, but I also laughed and grinned and giggled. The spice was 🥵🥵🥵 and the cannibalism wasn't so bad, really. And the mummified corpse bit? Genius. I might never be able to eat orzo pasta or Cookies and Cream ice cream ever again, but it's worth it.

Seriously, this was a great read, but there's a reason it starts out with a list of warnings. Read at your risk, but if you decide to chance it, enjoy. 😉
