I enjoyed book 1 and after reading to I was eager for more.
It was okay.
For some reason I couldn't get into it.
I feel really bad saying that, maybe it's me.
For me there was a lot of inner monologue, a pet hate of mine.
It was interesting to have a different perspective of the women coming to the planet project as the Hero works on certain aspects of it so he is privy to insider details.
To be honest I found it a bit boring and a bit repetitive.
Lots of detail to deco, which I wasn't bothered about.
The heroine is a shy type and of course a virgin, sigh.
The Hero's wife and daughter have died in the planets plague but he still has a son.
There are no intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine.
There is an attempted rape.
We have the evil bitchy woman but it seems to me a bit OTT.
HEA.
Breadcrumbs dropped for possible future books in series.
