Hungry by H.A. Swain

This book was eh. Reading the dust jacket got me really excited and I absolutely adored Thalia as a character, though I feel she could have been much more consistent with her position on most things. Mostly though, that's how I felt with the whole book. Zero consistency. It seemed like it skipped around going from ups and downs, to fights and compromises too quickly. There wasn't time to process the negatives before the positives came barreling back into it. All the technological advances in addition to the plot of "no need for food" really was just more confusing for the reader who had to understand what was happening. More than anything, I was actually really hoping for this book to be a female character who ditched her man. They really weren't an agreeable couple....whatever. Overall wasn't my favorite book. Definitely disappointed.
