There were parts that were definitely funny and entertaining but smthing about the book did lull at some point. I would not reread this but would read other books by the author.
I also recommended it to my cousin who is a new mom bc I do think the mom characteristics/parts were funny and relatable.
I am happy the ex has his own growth and will step up as a dad instead of the usual new man being the replacement father.
I call my mom mama and occasionally call my dad daddy (it’s not my fault it became sexual). That said the insistence on “big daddy” was unsettling.
Some side notes that I don’t hold against the author but think are worth noting:
- Airbnb is on BDS’ pressure list
- Taylor Swift is a disappointment as a celebrity feminist bc she’s said nothing about Palestine despite her pro woman
