What a sweet book. I loved Rebanks' look into the daily life of a shepherd in the Lake District. Not only was it a calming, heartwarming, and often funny read, but it also emphasized to me the importance of remembering your roots and honouring where you come from. Plus, lots of dogs featured is always a plus. What a lovely book. Comes with an unexpected yet sizable side of Beatrix Potter trivia.
