I did not finish this book because it felt like it was going nowhere. 200 pages in and not much happens. Plus, the main character is unlikeable. One of the reasons I picked this up was that LeGuin said there were "strong, likable characters and a compelling story..." 😳

I liked the concept and Griffiths' prose is lovely. I just can't get down with having unlikable characters and a stagnant plot (despite 2 POVs).
