This book doesn't even deserve 1 star. I give it about 1/2 of one. I honestly don't understand ANY of the hype about this book. For one, Bella makes my head hurt. Her thinking is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo far from logical. She has got to be the worst protagonist I've EVER read.

First of all, any human (even if they were the dumbest of the dumb) would run as fast they could in the opposite direction from something that could kill them. What does Bella do? Run towards the thing that could kill her and fall in love with him. Brilliant. Freaking brilliant. AND she wants to be turned into a vampire?!?!!? Who in their right mind wants that?! And then . . . Edward. Goodness gracious he has mood swings!! What causes his emotions to change so quickly?

And then secondly - was there even a plot?! This book feels like the second filler book in a trilogy!! And it's the first in the series!!! No character development either! What is this?!?!?!

Legit, the only thing GOOD about this book is the banter between Bella and Edward.

I'm only reading this series because it's a YA Classic (IMO). I still feel cheated. This book is TERRIBLE.
