Better than expected, which is saying something

There are sooooo many things I want to say about this book!

As a black woman I loved that the hero is black. I think this is the first BDSM romance I've read with a black main character in it that wasn't written by a black author. I love that you had the courage to write this book.

Not only is Jagger black but he's kinky and pierced?! I loved that representation. I think a lot of people think of the community and think it's not a diverse space but is is. The BDSM community is kind and welcoming and I've only every experienced that in the romance book community. The representation of the authenticity of people in the community was perfection.

The DDLG dynamic was one of my favorite parts of the book because it was such an accurate portrayal of the dynamic. Just like for author's vote says, this relationship is not what it seems. To me it's one of the dynamics that truly embody the D/s experienced. And who doesn't want to be loved and cared for? Knowing that there is someone who will always care about your and your needs even when you don't is so freeing and beautiful.

Is seems I can go on forever about this book, it's just that good!!!
