Little Song of Pain by Clio Evans

5.0

It’s nothing like a good ole mmf romance to pull your right back into your monster romance bag!

This book starts off with Icarus, a phoenix shifter, meeting with the Barista to get a human mate for his twin brother, Dalus. After some convincing, the Barista agrees to helping Dalus as long as they are aware of the danger that may come their way because of this pairing. While Dalus is on stage performing at the cafe a few days later, Icarus becomes overwhelmed by this beautiful woman, Melody, and nearly jumps her in the bathroom. Little did he know that Melody was Dalus’s human date for the night, or did he know?

Yessssss!! This is what I needed to end a beautiful reading month!! The tension, the tender moments, the spicy moments, the protectiveness, the running plot line through all the books in this series, to the love and attachment these three have for each other is so beautiful! It’s books like this that remind me why I’m in love with monster romances! There’s something so sweet seeing three different creatures fall in love and defend that love to the world!
