This was nothing like I expected, but I thoroughly enjoyed it. This urban fantasy novella does an incredible job of blending a modern setting with Polish folklore. The story is filled with a variety of fantastical creatures, magical powers, and other fantastical elements that make it feel truly unique. The three main characters were especially intriguing, and the complex, compelling relationship between them left me wanting to read more about them.
