my first sherlock story. VERY dark academia and a great read. i love that watson was the narrator, this way we can analyze sherlock from an outsiders perspective. albeit a biased, lovable and positive outsider. the only reason it is not a 5 star is that the language wasn’t beautiful per say. i didn’t devour this book, i read it in pieces over days. i will take a break before reading the valley of fear.
